Lead Data Visualization Designer

Climate Adaptation Services

  • Lead a technical team and deliver ~20 interactive visualisations, dashboards and map tools used by municipalities, water boards and researchers across the Netherlands.
  • Design and build frontend data products end-to-end — from requirements translation with researchers and policymakers to UX, development and delivery.
  • Architect an open-source map viewer platform for the Climate Effect Atlas (~500 daily visitors), currently in development.
2018 — 2019

AI Intern — Real Estate Fraud Detection

City of Amsterdam & University of Amsterdam

Built a classification model to flag suspicious real estate transactions using municipal registry data.

Open-source configurable map viewer platform for the Climate Effect Atlas (in development). Will enable municipalities and water boards to explore climate data through interactive maps with layer management, scenario switching and PDF export.

Award-winning scrollytelling experience exploring extreme heat scenarios in the Netherlands through 2050. Built for a broad audience of citizens and policymakers, with data visualisations and audio narration.
